Marketing Intern - McLaren Engineering Group - West Nyack, NY

McLaren Engineering Group seeks a summer 2016 Marketing Intern at its Corporate Headquarters in West Nyack, NY. The successful candidate will support McLaren Engineering Group with its LinkedIn social media platform, help organize its email database, write and send email newsletters as well as key image and photo cataloging.

Our marketing interns are naturally inquisitive with the energy and passion to help their teams develop successful product categories.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the Marketing Team to develop, manage posts for LinkedIn as well as increase followers and our posts engagement rates. Sort, organize and develop key email lists for specific markets, industry segments and preferred client lists. Research, set up and manage an online email management tool such as Mail Chimp or Constant Contact. Sort, organize and catalogue important high resolution marketing ready images for divisions, projects and markets. Occasionally go to key project sites and photograph the site and or manage a photographer on site to capture “prime marketing” shots for each project.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Junior-status students preferred. Experience with MS Office, especially Excel. Experience or exposure to 3 rd party email systems such as Mail Chimp or Constant Contact Experience or exposure to social media campaigns. Excellent communicator – speaks and writes clearly and to the point. Organized and analytical with relentless attention to detail. Hardworking and enthusiastic personality.
