Project Manager
The British Council is looking for a Project Manager to work in the British Council Programmes team in Algiers. As Project Manager you will be manage the effective delivery of projects and services in Education, Society and Arts.
The key role for the post holder will be delivering a range of projects (to be agreed with the Assistant Director Programmes and Country Director) focused on developing young people’s skills and UK-Algeria institutional partnerships and exchange in Education, Society and the Arts. This will involve developing and maintaining relationships with educational, skills and cultural partners across Algeria.
You will be highly motivated and a strong team player able to work well with colleagues in Algeria and the wider regional team across the Middle East and North Africa. You will have good knowledge and skills in project management, communication and influencing, planning and organising.
You will speak and write well in English, French and Arabic and preferably have relevant skills and knowledge of the Education, Skills or Arts sectors in Algeria and/or the UK.
You should have at least three years’ work experience, a university degree and preferably a proven track record in project management.
Starting salary : will around 110.000,00 DZD gross before tax and social security deductions
