Operators vacancy

Job Purpose :
To operate and maintain a production machine within the Secondary Manufacturing Department in order to manufacture cigarettes or Filter Rods to the
required specification, required quality standards, at the right time in accordance to production plan  and at the optimum cost.

Key Deliverables :
– Operate production machine according to the standard operating procedures in order to continuously manufacture products according to specifications and  product standards.
– Check material to ensure conformance to specifications (specifications card), rectify and report deviations.
– Test and evaluate quality inspection units according to procedures and rectify deviations to ensure conformance to product standards.
– conduct quality inspections according to laid down procedures to ensure that the product continuously conforms to specifications and product standards.
– Complete relevant documents as prescribed in order to ensure availability of accurate production data.
– Apply EHS procedures and good housekeeping practices in order to prevent personal injuries and damage to equipment.

Essential requirements :
– Holding a senior technician diploma or  its equivalent in any technical field.
– Sound technical knowledge and ability
– Ability to communicate in French and English could be added advantage.
– Must be ready to work Shifts
