Responsable Financier
Purpose of the Job :
– To ensure accuracy of actuals and estimate to complete at the consortium cost
– To ensure the economic and financial management of the consortium, following company procedures and ensuring risks and opportunities are managed to optimize the consortium financial targets
– To support the Project Manager in the controlling/financial management of the consortium
Mission :
Responsibilities :
– Ensure the necessary conditions for achievement of the consortium financial targets
– Be the economic and financial advisor to the Project Manager
– Prepare, along with the PM, the periodic Project cost Monitoring all the relevant financial analysis
– Control the project results through close involvement with the Project Manager and ensure full use of the risk and opportunities management tool
– Assure customer invoicing is done as soon as possible and play an active role in achieving payment from customer in the due time. Process supplier invoices.
– Respect of Transport Project processes and tools
– Specially follow-up the implementation of cash improvement actions and promote the cash culture in the project
– Control the budget of the project and manage the allocation process of consortium
– Review the Contract Database of the consortium
– Participate in the project Steering Committee, Risk analysis meetings and all decision-making concerning financial or contractual aspects of the project
Measurement :
Reporting accurate and on time :
– Compliance with the standard processes and use of standard tools
– Quality and accuracy of Reporting
– Support to Project Managers on finance related issues
Meeting financial targets of the consortium
Candidate Requirements :
Educational Requirements :
– Equivalent Baccalaureate +4 or financial master degree, or engineering education + financial training
Knowledge / Experience :
– 5 years working experience including exposure to project controlling involving several units.
– Experience of multi-disciplinary teams and international environment.
– Experience in transverse reporting or budgetary processes would be appreciated.

– Very good command of English (spoken & written) and ideally other ALSTOM domestic languages
