Supply Chain Manager Vacancy
Job Purpose :
To implement Supply Chain policies, procedures and guidelines in line with the strategic objectives of the business and effectively manage some of the key
processes of the integrated Supply Chain i.e. Logistics, Supply planning & Key Account Management, in order to improve competitive position of the Algeria
Market.
Key Deliverables :
– Contribute to the development and implementation of policies to manage the integrated Supply Chain in line with the BAT Global Best Practices.
– Support all BAT initiatives to ensure agility and responsiveness to diverse business changes and local scenarios for effective utilisation of resources,
achievement of S.C metrics targets and delivery of Algeria performance measures.
– Analyse the WM requirements for the Algeria Market, develop policies and systems to achieve End Market Material Requirement Planning from the central hub.
– Manage the Imports Desk for BAT Algeria
– Manage and develop skill levels of the S.C human resource for appropriate succession planning and future prospects. Develop high performance driven and
coaching culture to achieve excellence and full potential of the team.
– To manage and maintain the Business Continuity Plans for supply (production relocation, alternative sourcing).
– Work with the Finance Function to manage financial accounts and assets to ensure that supply chain resources are secure and used in the most efficient and
effective manner possible by applying continuous cost-control mechanism.
Essential requirements :
– University degree or its equivalent in SC & logistics management
– Clear understanding of S.C processes, interactions and constraints
-Has overall business knowledge, able to identify and prioritise issues and develop strategic plans for the company and supply chain.
– Understands FMCG market dynamics, customer needs and motivation.
– Understands impact of activities and decisions on financials.
– Have effective interpersonal skills to ensure credibility of the supply chain within the company.
– Has skills in managing, developing and leading of people and motivate them to generate high level of performance. Is able to lead and build enthusiasm for
– change.
– Is able to create an environment and team spirit where talents and potential of people are realised. Builds effective leadership pipeline and robust
succession.
