Well Testing Engineer

At least 7 years working as Reservoir Engineer, with 5 years of relevant experience in Gas Fields Well Testing Operations and Development
Projects for the Oil&Gas industry.

Skills :
Main Role will be focused on Fields as the candidate will be responsible of Well Testing Operations.
– It will actively work in the design, operation supervision and reporting from Subsurface side, interpretation and integration to static data
and final reporting.
– The role demands the development of active links with other disciplines (Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, Petroleum Engineering,
Production, Drilling and Completions).
– The reservoir engineer (on testing operations) reports to the Subsurface Manager.

Specific University Degrees :
– Reservoir Engineer / Production Engineer with a máster or additional courses on Reservoir Engineering

Candidate must be able to technically provide for GAS FIELDS the following skills (in order of importance):
– Gas Well Testing Design & Interpretation (experience on Operation Supervision is a plus): from the Design up to Supervision during Drilling &
 Completion operations. Perform all the sequences from the Design through the Analysis. Be flexible to field supervise, if required, during development
stages. Designs tests and plans to meet objectives together with service companies & completion engineer to ensure tests are performed to best standards,
 monitoring results and ensures that objectives are met. Analyzes data using state-of-the-art technology. Supports technology development efforts in the
Dynamic Reservoir Characterization area.
– Reservoir Performance Determination: Apply well test evaluation to identify well problems and reservoir characteristics and properties. Define
reservoir and well performance data acquisition needs to perform well testing in producers/injector wells.
– Reservoir Characterization: Data acquisition and integration to perform reservoir characterization studies.
– Reservoir Fluid Properties: Describe fluid properties from laboratory measurements and standard correlations. Perform reservoir fluid sampling
programs and behavior modeling and analysis.
– Well Modeling: Apply analytical and numerical methods to develop well models and estimate well inflow and pressure performance.
– Reservoir Mechanisms and Material Balance: Apply the generalized material balance equation to determine original volumes in place, reserves,
and production profiles.
– Production Forecasting: production forecasting techniques and reservoir performance analysis to maximize development and production economics
