Forensics Senior Manager
Purpose:
– The Manager Forensics Investigations will be responsible for conducting forensic investigations in the Algerian Business Unit for the purpose of minimizing losses from internal fraud and misconduct, improving operational transparency for the Group Executive Board and Corporate Governance Committees and compliance. Position will be based in Algiers
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
– To prepare accurate and detailed Investigation Incident Reports and logs.
– To prepare investigation plans, prior to and during the course of an investigation.
– To lead and perform investigations, as required.
– To interview OTA staff, witnesses or other key OTA staff to establish facts and to elicit evidence in person or via telephone, teleconference or video conference.
– Secure and collect witness, digital, physical and documentary evidence as part of these investigations using best practice, in an ethical manner, maintaining strict continuity of exhibits and other case-related material.
– Through the implementation and consistent application of rigorous record keeping, to be responsible for the effective maintenance of electronic case files.
– To perform intellectually and procedurally rigorous analysis of technical and communications data using current analytical methodologies and tools, in support of case work being conducted globally.
– Communication and working in matrix organization.
– Maintain strong, effective liaison and communications and where appropriate and within legal statutes report criminal cases to the relevant law and enforcement agencies.
Qualifications:
– At least 5 years’ experience in conducting and managing investigations in Algeria
– Successful candidate will come from a military, law Enforcement, intelligence and/or big 4 accountancy consultancies.
– Experience conducting, leading and supervising financial and commercial fraud investigations
– Telecommunications Industry experience would be considered an advantage but not essential
– BA or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Law, or other related discipline
– Fluency in English is required.
– Certification such as CPA, CFE, or equivalent
